Bananas Over You Card

Hi crafty friends,  Noga here and I am so excited to share with you another card from Hello Sweetums new release!

My card featuring Funky Monkeys Clear Stamp Set and  Funky Monkeys Metal Die Set.

To make this card I took an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. The background was created by blending tumbled glass distress oxide ink. Next I colored the adorable images using copic markers, I stamped a 12 bananas images!! I glued all the images to my panel. Next I stamped a greeting from Funky Monkeys Clear Stamp Set on the panel using yellow ink and heat embossed it.

To finish off, I added scallop frame to the card.

Totally Teal Oceans of Joy Card

Hi Everyone,

Rina here with a Seas the Day card. Ocean themed cards are some of my favorites to make. This set includes a trio of mermaids that are so fun to work with. I love that the set also includes a lot of ocean critters that can play with the mermaids.

I wanted to create a wave texture so I ink blended Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. I also added bubbles by splattering a generic blue acrylic paint as well as black acrylic paint.
I colored the images and cut them out using the coordinating dies. If you didn’t know the coordinating dies already come ready to use. No need to cut them apart yourself. I love this about the Hello Sweetums dies.

Here are the Copic Marker colors I used for the images:
Red – R20, R22, R24, R27
Blue/Green – BG15, BG32
Pink – RV06
Skin – E50, E53

Roar-some Card

Hey everyone.... Ashlee here.

Are you ready for a ROAR - ing card??!! 

I wanted to try out some pastel colouring with my Copics and I thought these super cute dinosaurs from the "Prehistoric Playmates" set by Hello Sweetums would be perfect!! Once I coloured them up along with some of the trees and rocks I used the co-ordinating dies to cut them out....

The background was done using a stencil on neenah desert storm cardstock and I inked it with make art ink!! I love heat embossing my sentiments with white opaque WOW! embossing powder, it works so well on any colour card!! 

I just adore this sweet set from Hello Sweetums and there is so many more cuties available in the store too, you should totally check it out!!

Hopping By To Say Hello Card

Hi everyone!

Rina here with a Honey Bunnies card. I love all the sets for the March release, but these Honey Bunnies stole my heart. I wanted to use as MANY as possible! They are so unique, chubby and fabulous!

I wanted to use an Easter color palette, so I kept it with a fresh green color and pink. I used a hillside die and tucked in the carrot bunches into the hills and I just adore the tiny grass stamps. They add so much texture to the hillside and fill space.

The hills were blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink and the sky is in Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I try to blend the sky into white so I use very little ink to achieve this look. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder. For sentiments, it is better to use the fine detail powder for a crisp look.

Here are the Copic Marker colors I used for the images:

Pink – RV00, RV02, RV04

Gray – C00, C1, C3

Orange – YR01, YR02

Green – BG15

Chimp-ly Marvelous Clear Embossed Card

Hello! Yainea here. Today I'm sharing my card using the Hello Sweetums Funky Monkeys stamp and die set and the Fronds Forever stencil.

First I used the Fronds Forever stencil and some clear embossing paste to create my background. While it dried, I colored my card base with a pair of Distress Inks and my blending tool. Then I stamped, colored with alcohol markers and die cut the pair of monkeys, bananas branch and a bunch of leaves.

For the sentiment, I cut two stripes out of black cardstock and stamped it with embossing ink, then I heat embossed it using white embossing powder. When the background was completely dry, I cut it with an angle to create the diagonal hole and arranged all the elements together.

Flippin' Awesome Mermaid Card

Hey everyone.... Ashlee here.

I am so super in love with all the gorgeous new products now available at Hello Sweetums.. I wanted to pop in and share a card with you that I made using the Seas the Day set along with the co-ordinating dies. It's full of gorgeous little mermaids and a merman along with lots of sea accessories and perfect sentiments!!

I created a fun background for this one using NUVO shimmer powders...and mounted it behind a die cut base using a seashell shaker die from Studio Katia that I thought would match perfectly for the mermaids!!

The fun scene was made using the accessories by stamping in different shades of ink... Once the base was all done I added the mermaid, merman, seahorse and little fish that I had coloured with Copics to the card base using some foam tape to pop them up.

Finished off with a fun sentiment and of course a few more sequins!

Cotton Candy Tag and Wrapping Paper

Hi crafty friends, Noga here and I am so excited to share with you another project made with Hello Sweetums new release!

My tag featuring Fine and Dandy Clear Stamps Set and Stargazer stencil.

To make this wrapping paper, I blended Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink using Stargazer stencil. I really love the result. :) To make this tag, I stamped this adorable image on white cardstock and coloured it with Copic markers. To finish off, I tied a pink and baby blue twines.

It is as easy as that! Super fun, cute and easy to make! I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!
