Crafty Friends Stick Together Card

Hi All!

Rina here with a Crafty Friends Stick Together card! With Valentines fast approaching, I also like to think of this holiday as a way to celebrate all my amazing friendships and that includes crafty friends!

The Crafty Companions and Yeti Set Go sets are my favorite sets! I loved pairing these two together and I am all about the yetis all year round.

Since I had many images, I wanted to place them in an organized fashion. I placed them in a stack of three using a die from my stash, but you can easily cut out 3 rectangles to ground the images on. I used Copic markers to color in my images in my favorite pink and aqua tones and created the background using Distress Oxide Ink in Mermaid Lagoon. I used a light gray colored cardstock behind my die cut.

I finished off the card using the Inkon3 Liquid Pixie Dust to add shimmer to the images. I also added jewel embellishments for added shine.

I hope you have an amazing day and make sure you let your crafty friends know they are loved!

Thanks for stopping by,
Rina

Mirrored Valentine's Day Slider Card

Hello crafty friends! Angie here, and today I've made a slider card for Valentine's day using our Fuzzy Felines stamps and coordinating dies, complete with mirror stamped "kissing" kittens!

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below, it shows how this card was made! There's also a supply list at the end of this post for all the products used.

I cut out an A6 panel from some watercolour paper, with a stitched rectangle die. I then placed down some paper tape onto the centre, to some ink blending with. I used Spun Sugar Distress inks, and then darkened the edges with Picked Raspberry. I just love these two colours together, they are the perfect combination for 'I love you' cards.

After, I removed the tape to reveal the crisp stripes, and repeated the same steps with some washi tape, for thinner stripes. Next, onto marker friendly paper, I stamped the original cat, from the Fuzzy Felines stamp set, and then mirror stamped it, so it was facing the other way, with the help of a clear solid stamp and Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then coloured the images with Shinhan brush markers, and cut them out with their coordinating die.

I then cut out a scalloped circle from watercolour cardstock to match the white stripes of the pink panel, and cut out a short slot from it, using a slider die, and created my slider. I also cut out a full scalloped circle, to make the slider element look neater, and adhered that to the other.

The card definitely called for some white embossing, and I heat set a sentiment which said 'I love mew to bits'. After assembling the card together, it was finished with clear sequins and also some hot pink hearts, to contrast the lighter coloured stripes. The hearts were actually die cut from a few other Hello Sweetums sets, because I wanted various sized hearts.

Here is the list of supplies used to make the card:

Bee's Knees Valentine's Day Card

Hi friends! Thi here today to share with you a Valentine's Day card featuring Hello Sweetums Bee's Knee's stamp set. I went with a non-traditional color scheme, but I still think you can feel the love from these sweet bees, right?

First, I stamped and colored the two little bees with Zig markers and fussy cut them. I set them aside and ink blended with a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass for my background. I then took out my Distress Oxide in Candy Apple and stamped the little hearts and the sentiment directly onto this background. Next, I die cut the ends with a scallop border and set this aside while I started to assemble my card.

I first adhered a piece of yellow pattern paper to an A2 card base with a tape runner. Next, I took the cloudy background and adhered it onto the card. I stamped the dotted heart lines directly onto the clouds and adhered my little bees with foam tape for dimension.

That's it and my card is done. Simple but very sweet for Valentine's Day!

Jam Packed Yeti Valentine's Day Card

Hey everyone, Ashlee here....

Valentines is just around the corner, have you started creating cards for your loved ones?...

I was super determined to make two of the "Hello Sweetums" stamp sets work together... "Spread the Love" and "Yeti Set Go". I thought they would be perfect to use for a fun Valentine card for a friend!

I stamped images I wanted to use from both of the sets and played around with the positioning of the images and figured out a fun way for the Yeti to be holding the knife and jar without making it look too big for him.

The co-ordinating dies are super awesome because they cut out slits in the arms of the yeti so that he can be holding all sorts of goodies... Such a fun element of a die!!

The background of the card was made by stamping images from the spread the love set all over the base and then by using the matching pieces I stamped the jam with Distress oxide picked raspberry ink.

I hope you like my new Hello Sweetums card, I'm sure to be back with more HS inspiration very soon!!
