Marker and Mini Distress ink storage

Hi everyone!

Happy new year! I hope you all have had a fantastic start to 2018.

With the start of a new year, brings a little craft area tidy up! Because my craft area is quite small, I'm always on the look out for the perfect storage solutions for it. For the longest time I've been trying to find the best ways to store my markers and Distress inks, and I'm so happy to say, I finally found them!

I was browsing around the dollar shop and found these little hinged lid plastic boxes. They have 12 little compartments and 3 larger ones. The smaller ones are great for holding Mini Distress inks with their coordinating foams hidden underneath, and the larger ones can hold my spare blending foams, blending tool, brushes and spray bottle. I bought two boxes, which are both just deep enough to fit, stacked on top of each other, in the drawer of my desk. And to top it off, this convenient little box was less than $5!

As for my Twin Touch markers, I wanted a handy sized box that I could store in the drawer of my desk. Around Christmas time at my house, it was Ferrero Rocher season, and we had lots of empty boxes. I had bought two sized boxes; small and medium. I tried to fit my markers in the smaller one, however they didn't fit, so I tried the medium. To my surprise, it was the perfect fit! So, I divided my markers into colour family, and cut a piece of laminating sheet to fit the length of the box, to divide the markers. I currently use two of these boxes, and they fit into my drawer as well. As a tip, I recommend buying these when they're on sale, as they can be quite expensive normally.

I'm still trying to find great storage ideas for my little craft area, and will keep you updated.

Thanks for reading, and have a great, safe start to 2018!
